Guy has led a peripatetic life since his late thirties. His travels worldwide and life in other countries inspired his love of history, alternative cultures, and his interest in local research. Now settled in Farnham, he is retired, spending time walking and writing. Knowing his love of wandering, folks might question how long he will stay here. The simple answer Guy automatically fires back is “as long as I am happy”.
When asked what the next project in the pipeline is, Guy replied, “I am toying with several ideas. Currently, I am looking at the youngest headmaster in the country, with a family that extends back to the Domesday Book. As a retired head in the 1930s, he toured the world looking for past pupils...”
