'PEEPS INTO THE PAST'

COFFEE WITH THE DUSTMEN

The book is very readable and extremely thorough, revealing an awful lot of information about [Verney] that most of the residents of Farnham who knew him will be totally unaware of.

'FARNHAM HERALD'

FASCINATING FARNHAM

... meticulously researched and skilfully structured, bringing together a wealth of stories, histories, lives great and small, stretching from the Roman era to the present day. [Guy] breathes vivid life into all of these and unites them in a coherent whole.

BIO

Guy has led a peripatetic life since his late thirties. His travels worldwide and life in other countries inspired his love of history, alternative cultures, and his interest in local research. Now settled in Farnham, he is retired, spending time walking and writing. Knowing his love of wandering, folks might question how long he will stay here. The simple answer Guy automatically fires back is “as long as I am happy”.

When asked what the next project in the pipeline is, Guy replied, “I am toying with several ideas. Currently, I am looking at the country graveyard at St Michael and All Angels at Thursley. You will be amazed at the stories I am uncovering there.”
